Adding color and graphics to the environment of an established brand to reactivate the space and engage visitors.
The Basement is an underground marketplace of Reno, Nevada’s historic 1932 post office, with local vendors offering their talents. The space was transformed to house retail and food vendors celebrating the craft of the hand and a collaborative culture.
Vibrant colors are added to a neutral environment with graphics based on the interior elements and history of the building.
Upon entry in the building, a directory is presented with the tenants mapped out on the floor plan. The floorplan is printed and mounted behind glass displayed with stand-offs, allowing for the rotating tenants to be updated with vinyl applied to the glass.
